Bicyclist and pedestrian safety presentations now offered online to groups and individuals

Live interactive safety presentations are delivered online.

As part of the Walk Bike Drive awareness campaign, virtual presentations with a live instructor are now available for pedestrians, bicyclists and motorists. Like the in-person programs, the new online presentations are interactive and provide a fun way to test participant knowledge and hear the latest safety information. Presentations generally last one hour, including a question-and-answer session, but may be tailored to group’s specific needs.

Programs offered include:

  • WalkWise is a general safety presentation that covers safety tips for people who walk, bike and/or drive a motor vehicle.
  • BikeSmart is a presentation specifically for those who bicycle or are interested in starting to ride.
  • We also offer the Bicycle Friendly Driver presentation from the League of American Bicyclists, which is for motorists who want to learn more about sharing the road with those who bicycle.

If you would like to participate in an upcoming presentation or schedule a session for your workplace or community group, please visit bikewalktampabay/virtual.
