Tampa Bay area employers are among 231+ workplaces in the United States that have committed to employer-provided commuter benefits that result in at least 14 percent of their employee base not driving alone to work within a 12-month period. These employers offer several commuter benefit options to their employees, which may include transit pass subsidies, a compressed work week or telework, and an emergency ride home.
“The Tampa Bay employers designated as the 2017 Best Workplaces for Commuters are part of a national movement,” says Julie Bond, program manager. “Employers are recognizing that it makes good business sense to provide commuter benefits.”
Congratulations to the following Tampa Bay area employers named 2017 Best Workplaces for Commuters:
Best Workplaces for Commuters is managed by the Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR) with support from the National Center for Transit Research (NCTR) and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).
