Walking, biking, and COVID-19: A regional resource guide

Being diligent during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic doesn’t mean you have to stay indoors. Following a few basic guidelines, like avoiding group rides and making sure to leave a minimum of six feet when next to or when passing another person, means you can enjoy walks and bike rides while still protecting yourself and others from coronavirus. Exercise offers many a mood lift and energy boost; it can also help people feel less isolated and more connected to the community, even when having to walk or bike solo.

The following are resources to help you make an informed decision about how best to exercise or run necessary errands on foot or by bike during the current pandemic. We encourage you to visit the following sites and check for new information regularly.

Wishing you good health and happy walking and riding!
