The Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) is responsible to make recommendations to the MPO Board on matters concerning the comprehensive bikeway and pedestrian system/plan, which is a part of the MPO’s Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), and to promote safety, security, education and enforcement of laws pertaining to both pedestrians and bicycles. The BPAC’s overall mission will be “to promote cycling and walking in Pasco County by promoting public awareness, improving safety, extending connectivity, as well as encouraging a friendly and healthy lifestyle through everyday transportation alternatives.”
