Inaugural Sunflower Bicycle Tour will take Tampa Bay women riders on Coast-to-Coast Trail this October

Brought to you by Bike Florida and Bike/Walk Tampa Bay

This inaugural tour is named after Florida’s Beach Sunflower, which grows only in Florida, blooms year-round, and requires an abundance of sun and salt to survive. Much like the Beach Sunflower, the brighter the sun, the greater the strength and beauty of our women cyclists.

In this spirit, October 22-24, 2021, we are inviting a group of thirty women cyclists to ride across the Sunshine State, from Coast to Coast, over only three days.

Each day we’ll ride roughly 80-90 miles, with a minimum average rolling pace of 14 mph.

E-bikes are allowed, but you are responsible for managing your equipment (such as charging batteries, etc.).

Price: $495

Ride Includes:

  • Pre-designed routes
  • Maps with turn-by-turn directions and suggested itineraries
  • SAG Support with 1 rest stop every day
  • Evening Happy Hour
  • 2 Hotel Nights at Double Occupancy (Single Supplement can be purchased for an additional $200).
  • Limited Edition Event Jersey
