Bike racks and fix-it stations installed in Westshore

New bike racks and fix-it stations have been installed in multiple locations, including Lincoln Gardens Park (left) and Charles B. Williams Park (right).

By Michael Maurino, CNU-A, Director of Transportation and Planning, Westshore Alliance

Three new bike racks and fix-it stations are now available for use, thanks to a partnership between the Westshore Alliance and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). The racks at Avion Park, Lincoln Gardens Park, and Charles B. Williams Park were funded by FDOT. The Avion Park racks serve several hotels and restaurants a few blocks away from Cypress Point Park and the Courtney Campbell Trail. Lincoln Gardens and Charles B. Williams Parks are in residential neighborhoods near high-traffic corridors and the Interstate 275 Greenway. For more information, visit the Westshore Alliance website.
