St. Petersburg Bike Share program launched, full program implementation underway

The Coast Bike Share Program is now extended from Tampa to St. Petersburg. In November, the soft launch (Phase 1) of the program included the installation of 10 Bike Share hub locations, where bikes can be picked up and dropped off, and 100 demo bikes. A launch event for Phase I of the program was held on February 4, 2017 to celebrate the Bike Share with the people of St. Petersburg and test out the new bikes. Bikes are available for rent and each hub location has a map of the City for easy access to all it has to offer. The final implementation includes 450 bike racks and 300 bikes that will be distributed across the Greater Downtown Core, which includes the EDGE District, Grand Central District, Deuces Live (22nd Street South), Innovation District, and 4th Street Garden District.
