The Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART) has recently bridged possible gaps in communication with transit riders via the One Bus Away application. HART is the first agency in Florida to directly partner with SeeClickFix, Inc., a communications platform. Results of the partnership include improvements to the application that allow users to share information with one another and with HART, and to provide feedback to HART to improve transit efficiency.
HART riders and app users are now able to report issues, provide suggestions to HART in real-time, receive status updates, and monitor progress and resolutions via One Bus Away. In addition, riders can vote on issues that are important to maintaining HART’s transit system. The One Bus Away application’s new features allow the appropriate departments to respond to issues immediately, streamlining customer service and improving statistical reports.
“HART is pleased to bring this additional benefit to our customers,” said HART CEO, Katharine Eagan. “We hope this feature will encourage our riders to work with us and stay connected through this communication feature so that we can be aware of any issues and address them quickly.”
The OneBusAway Tampa App is free to the public. However, the customer service reporting feature is currently only available on Android devices.
