Join us – Deputy Mayor Kanika Tomalin, members of City Council, the Coast crew and all of your bike-loving friends and neighbors – as we celebrate the official launch of Coast Bike Share in St. Pete with a FREE group ride ending at Localtopia 2017: “A Community Celebration of All Things Local”!

We’ll meet at the City Hall hub at 8:30am on Saturday, February 4 for Kahwa coffee and opening speeches before embarking on a community ride along the waterfront. (It’s what Saturday mornings in this city were made for.)

At the end of the ride, be part of the official bike share ribbon cutting as we Coast through a banner at the opening of Localtopia. You can join us throughout the day for bike demos, giveaways, fun and games at the Coast Bike Share booth, too.

Bring your own bike, or grab a Coast bike from one of our hubs around town – bikes will not be staged at City Hall.

Riding, music, food and good vibes in the sun = weekend win.

Launch Party Schedule:

8:30am – Meet at City Hall (175 5th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33701) for opening speeches and coffee.

8:45am – Coast through downtown and along the waterfront’s Healthy St. Pete Loop.

10:00am – Bike through the official Coast Bike Share ribbon for the opening of Localtopia.

10:00 – 5:00pm – Enjoy the Localtopia festivities with hundreds of local vendors, artists, and musicians. Stick around the Coast booth (on the corner of 2nd Ave N and 3rd St N) for a chance to win ride credits, swag, and epic hi-fives!

Invite your bike-loving friends, and check out www.coastbikeshare.com for more information on your city’s new bike share system.
